Jesus. I loves it.

FYI, this is a feed of relevant blog posts.

I am a Christian. I will write lots more about that soon. I don’t really feel the need to engage in apologetics but I’m always more than willing to discuss my experiences and learn about other people’s.  Jesus is pretty rad, now if only I could live in a manner which even vaguely reflected that…

If you’ve ever wondered what all the fuss is about then I would suggest that you check this site out which does a pretty neat summary of Christian message . It’s got about 6 slides that covers the basics. Even if you’re not remotely interested, it’s worth reading just to be generally aware.

An observation: I think some of my friends have a view of Christians – whether through prior experience or not – which is quite imperialistic in that they just want to ‘convert’ people and rack up a few more notches on their evangelical belt. I don’t see that as my purpose. First and foremost I don’t believe that it is even possible for someone to ‘convert’ someone else – instead, if anyone chooses to accept God in to their lives then that is purely between them and God. They may benefit from the support of Christians around them – but not in such a way that anyone may take credit. Therefore I don’t feel the need to attempt to force my views on anyone else. This, however does not get me off the hook in terms of the great commission. I very much hope to be able to live in a way which points to Jesus. I am constantly very much aware that I utterly fail to do so, but it is something I am working on – and something I shall continue to work on indefinitely.

I hope that some of the way I live is (or will be?) different enough to get people thinking. Even if it isn’t yet and this whole page was a complete surprise to you, I’m always up for discussing it.

I might see if I can build up a list of useful Christian links/resources and stuffs, probably more for my own benefit than anyone else’s. Could be pretty useful at some stage.

Flippin’ love it, mate. Some good wisdom, there. Wish I’d been able to say it so simply when I was a student. Nice one.
